Heard from a mate today that Canute have got rid of all their foreign drivers from that depot, who then promptly went on a rampage on the British trucks parked up on that stretch of the A1.
Destroyed a David Fox wagon, inside and out.
Be careful if overnighting around there.
Heard canute had a clear out at their Purfleet depot as well although I didn’t here about foreign drivers being targeted as that’s against the law.
Are they sure it was the drivers who did it.
Not sure I’d want to nightout anywhere on the stetch as there are, how should I put this, an awful lot of “alternative lifestyle caravan clubs” in the area around Newark to Worksop.
Cant work out what Canute are playing at since their very public problems, but am surprised they got rid of non UK driving licence holders. Really not sure even they know what they are doing currently.
Will have to wait and see how it plays out and what appears on the local press. Ollerton Uncovered FB page more likely to run it rather than the papers.
Btw, not sure this thread will stay up as it might come under rumours, but will ask my local source tomorrow…she knows more than MI5!

Apparently it is due to the amount of vehicle damage that they are causing.

One of the vehicles damaged was from a mob I used to work at. The David Fox driver took refuge in this truck.

Yeah, I’m wondering about that too. Did they drive or walk to these random motors? Were operators specifically targeted or just randomly attacked? Were all the alleged attackers in a group or spread out? Etc etc etc.
Starting to smell of Bs.
I’ve checked all local sources, human and online, and no one seems to have heard anything so not sure if its another depot and someone got mixed up with locations or what.
Would baffle me as they couldn’t target just Brits since you never know what country the driver originates from.

Must admit that I couldn’t find anything online either, but I spoke to the dad of the driver (mate from previous workplace) and he confirmed it.
I just can’t see this amount of criminal activity happening in a public place in broad daylight and no mention of it anywhere apart from here.

ECM had a transporter and cars badly vandalised and sent a memo out to all drivers to avoid parking in the area.

Are you sure it didn’t belong to the mobile dwellers, after all it did travel through the air and was therefore a travelling rock
