Well not wanting to spoil this thread too early I’ll keep the answer to myself for a while but talking of blackbirds; I know a song about some of them. 
All sing
There were three crows sat in a tree
an’ they were as black as crows can be.
Said one old crow unto his mate
“What shall we have today for bait?”
“Let’s fly across to farmer’s barn
and fill our crops’s full of corn”
“And when we’ve yut and flown away
what will that poor ol’ farmer say?”
“I’ll go away and get my gun
an’ shoot thoses bu***rs one by one”
“The more I sows the more I grows
an’ it’s all eaten by those Bl***y crows!!”
