I remember my dad bringing a couple of new sets home and moaning about the colour and how stiff the material was. the original blue ones were dead soft and comfy, but the grey was like an actual suit! i think howden had closed by the time the yellow uniform came out - my dad took redundancy before he had to wear it if not!
