This is good news really, as long as the condition is treated and monitered you can do the job.
For the past couple of months I’ve been working with a race car mechanic who has diabeties, as with haulage the job involves long hours and irregular meals and sleep patterns. The lad seems to be able to control his diabeties with regular monitoring, injections and the odd packet of Haribo’s 
Not sure if that was really part of the treatment.
