I remember getting caught on a couple of occasions at Golling services on an Austrian public holiday or weekending. You couldn’t drive after 3 p.m. on a Saturday afternoon until 10 p.m. Sunday night. It wasn’t cheap to stay there but you could have a good meal, a few beers and a decent shower.
