I did it for just over A year. Mostly muck away, some quarry work.
There’s definitely that ‘gotta get the loads in’ mentality. In the most part these are not ‘professional’ drivers and I’m glad that job is now behind me. They used to race each other and be a bit ridiculous. I often wince if I see a tipper coming the other way lol
Driving through mud and getting stuck and getting mud everywhere is not my idea of fun, however in terms of driving experience it’s a box ticked…
