For info - For those of you lucky enough to come to France .

There is a strike call being organised by all the main unions for Feb 1 and on Feb 4 a national strike has been called.

What, if any effect this will have we shall see.

Is the strike on the 1st and 4th or 1st till the 4th? Any idea on the reasons behind it? thanks

The strike called for the 01/2 has been called by the transport unions
Then 2 days off
The strike on 04/2 is a national strike

Wether either of these days have an impact we shall have to see.

Covid spread, restaurant closure, curfew, Brexit, covid test before re-entering France, retirement.

Perm any 3 from 6 to win a tenner.

The 1st is transport related, normal "we’re not happy with our conditions " thing

the 4th is as said a "General Strike " to complain about EVERYTHING that the unions don’t like !

AND F?ALL TO DO WITH BREXIT !!!

Don`t blame me!

I heard it was to give the workers a bit of time to discuss the forthcoming FREXIT referendum.

Monday’s strike is cancelled for the moment whilst talks with the transport ministry are ongoing.
