Short term insurance

Postby openad » Wed Jan 13, 2021 1:55 pm

Hi all - I run an events company.. hardly busy at the moment :-)

We have a restricted Operators License we don't own any vehicles. We hire both drivers / vehicles as and when needed.
In the past hired from Ryder who also provide insurance sadly they have closed their Scotland Depots and we have an event this summer that needs 3x 18t Box. We can hire these from Flexi-Rent in Nairn and get drivers from Inverness.

HOWEVER for love or money I can't get any insurance. Anyone know of a company that does short-term HGV insurance.
To confirm I have one vehicle (transporter) insured through NFU and they won't provide cover.
