Who would buy this?

Also to beefy above, what’s the thing with twin tag wheels? I made a post in the o/d forum about that just a few days ago.

A proper “Tang” wants a twin wheel tag - (They have never sat in a mid lift and have no idea of the comfort they are missing out on ) and a manual stick - (again never used an I-shift box and how simple it is )
Notice I said WANTS not needs - its all about the image not the practacality of the thing .
I’m not a tang lol but I do like the twin wheel tag - for me it just looks better , single wheel tag looks horrible to me , with the super single wheel only slightly better . It just takes the twin wheels to make it look “right” and as a diehard Volvo man I do have to say Scania does the twin wheel tag best of all .

I completely agree with you on the looks of a ‘double drive’ on alloys, even if it’s only a 6x2 twin tag lift in reality, but other than looks I’m seeing a whole boatload of negatives running such a configuration at 44 tonnes. As I said in the o/d thread : extra rolling resistance = lower mpg, extra weight, extra maintenance and extra cost for the rubber itself. What am I missing? I’d have one myself but 200kg ? from 2 extra wheels and tyres eating into my available payload is not a good recipe for making profit and that’s before factoring in the added costs from the other stuff.
