Unfortunately after 90 years the family run business was no more.

On the 20th of April 2011 sixty staff were made redundant after the company went into administration.
Administrators from Manchester-based KPMG who were called in by the companys bank said at the time that the firm’s reliance on large contracts had led to its downfall.
