Transcontinental does have a Hartlepool Co. Durham reg just wondering if it is one of Dents of Spennymoor ? They did operate a few Transcontinentals.

Yes,looking at cab side there looks like a name in large italics like Dents.RAH transporters from Darlington had similar I think. It does have a beacon on top of cab so could possibly run long loads.

This isn’t one of Dents motors. Dents Transconti’s were registered OPT900T, RHN—X and PAJ270X and were the latter types with the blue ford oval/black grille. OPT was originally painted ford factory yellow with three shades of red stripes on the sides and RHN and PAJ were ford white with three shades of blue stripes on the sides. All had plain “Dents” stickers on the doors and the front panel above the grille. One was originally plain red but was recabbed after rolling over (RHN I think) but was re-cabbed with a ford white cab with the three blue stripes. See the Dents of Spennymoor forum for photos of OPT and PAJ.
