PYE Group New Zealand

Dom123:
Can’t help for PYE group, but I’m currently living here driving trucks for a farm contractor over harvest. Have been since September, If you want any advice fire away. The main things I’d say is be prepared for very long hours and a step back in time when it comes to trucks. Crash boxes are still the norm and I’ve even driven lorries from the early 80’s here. However for a proper trucking experience not just being a steering wheel attendant and the scenery / empty roads you really can’t beat it.

Would like to know more about driving for an Agri Contractor about NZ■■?
North or South Island best■■?
Seems to be big demand for British/Irish drivers to go out over our Winter time??
By long hrs what you mean 0400 starts to 0200 finish prob 7days week??
There a lull from say grass silage harvest finishing until maize harvest starts??

It’s on my “bucket list” to try when I retire along with a silage “Custom Cutter” in USA and back there for a wheat/corn/soybean harvest run again.
