Parcel drivers

Postby Rowley010 » Fri Feb 14, 2020 6:50 am

Truck was overtaking me on the M6 tonight. As it got as far as my window I could see it was a tnt truck. Seeing as they all drive like bell ends I wound up the cruise control to it’s limit to leave him out there for a while.

You need to change the bait on your hook.

Mind you, you probably dont as no doubt this will be another thread with the same replies....

I was driving my parcel truck on the M6 last night, as I hung out to over take, I was met with a dirty look from some chap. He couldn't of been no more then 16/17 years of age. I digress, he had the nerve, to speed up and wouldn't let me by.. so much to my annoyance, when he sped off, I moved back over. later on during my shift, I needed to get on the A34, and I see the same truck parked up. It was him again, because I am such an unprofessional and inconsiderate driver. I decided to ignore the count down markers and cut over right at the end. All in the name of getting parcels to the customer as quick as possible.
Regret what you do, not what you don't do.

I’m interested to know how you peel your bananas lads. No it’s not a euphemism.
I was listening to something on the radio that said monkeys hold the stalk end and peel from the other end.
I’ve never even given that consideration.

Good Man, I did not think you would lower your standard to that of the average donut.
But you got all the usual tribe going and brightened the forum up at the same time.

Top work.

I just thought that seeing as i normally get abuse for pointing out poor driving, I thought members on here might see me as a hero for saying my standards lowered to that. Just a test.

Perhaps, if the biggest Muppet of all had actually read the previous post.... he might see that I also replied to his previous mindless drivel....... or do you simply throw opprobrium without checking your facts first? .Oh.... Hold on....

Absolutely spot on advice.

When it used to be known as Chester I actually used to drive along fantasising about meeting it and opening its cartroid artery. Now that can't be healthy and I've since discovered that it's much more satisfying to just ignore it and its ramblings.

Watch me ignore it's inevitable response. Hmmm, perhaps it won't respond now, just to justify itself. :D
