If the work is “Challenging” then you cannot switch off, and the time drags. If you can do a job on autopilot - then despite the job not being challenging - time will absolutely fly by, which is the real definition of “Cushty” when set up with a decent hourly rate and as many hours as you can eat.Sad when it comes into it that as many hours as you can get
I suppose it depends really. If I was asked “Do you want to go home now and spend the next three hours on the internet or would you like to spend the next three hours in a drivers’ waiting room being paid £11 an hour to go on the internet?” then I’d be thinking maybe it would be advantageous to me to choose the latter option.
