Diamond Buses have operated amongst several other routes, the 640 and 641 from Wigan town centre
on a circuitous route that takes 75 minutes on this countryside journey. Route 640 goes anti-clockwise,
and 641 goes clockwise. Both routes cover Standish, Shevington, Kitt Green, Orrell, and Pemberton.
This Optare diesel-electric bus is reversing off the stand at the new bus station in the centre of Wigan,
and setting off on route 641. Photos from my Nokia phone, which is a phone, not a Smart phone, like
just about everybody except me seems to have nowadays.
