Depends if the UK Gov want to change our own rules? Stick with existing EU rules, or set up an expensive department researching a different set of standards? No Deal domestic manufacturer to benefit from any changes is there? (Small DAFs are sold here and the EU so need to confirm to their standards still)
Never know what the future holds, maybe a US trade deal will make us accept their standards rather than EU ones? At the same time we will be expected to accept GM foods and hormone enriched meats?
