Do you remember a time when drivers were selected from the best applicants that could be found, and trusted to do their jobs efficiently which included looking after the vehicle with mechanical sympathy, none of this stuff was needed.
Have we now reached the point that lorry drivers are in such short supply that any bugger who can stagger in on their hind legs with a blagged HGV licence will do, so its down to the vehicle itself watching them for every moment of their work because they can’t be trusted.
Not looking for an argument, no criticism, not saying you are wrong in any way for going down this modern logistics giant route, places where drivers are bums and seats with numbers not names and one size fits all rules.
Just saying it’s a pity we have come to this.
