With regards to the number plate when driving solo either in the yard or on the road I make sure the number plate is on the dash in full view so I can never forget to put it on the back of the trailer and also I know that I’ve taken it off the back of the trailer.That’s a better idea than what I came up with, I drilled an hole in the plate put some string through it and I now wear it around my neck when I’m not tugging a trailer…
