Working class 1 for 11 per hour

Pay rates depend on a major number of factors including:

  • Start time (early starts gets more)
  • Availability of workforce
  • Average wages both in and of driving
  • Types of companies (supermarket better, pallets less)
  • Types of work you’re doing (manual work should be higher)
    etc…

£11 hour is a reasonably decent enough wage for class 1 days and a tad low for nights at least on pallets. It should be higher of course, but wont get there anymore just like many other jobs. It certainly ain’t just driving that has never really increased.

Ltd is alright for people who can leave the country quickly when HMRC catch up with them and want loads of cash they are actually due.

For more money, stay away from pallets a.d head towards either specialist or supermarkets. Coop pay decently but its hard work and daft start times.

I think Coop now use Scania.Co op in Coventry under Stobart. And there just trunking job.I had text message who Co–op (Wincanton)looking for drivers in Wellingborough.May be they close Huntington and or Godmanchesrer site and make relocation.
