Wasn’t it just !! 
I used to dread it. Slavonski Brod area if I remember correctly, bumpy, seamed concrete slab, flower wreaths and crosses adorning the side of the road embankments along with wrecks of vehicles.
we definately deserved the Bip Pivo and Mixed Grill George at the National when we got there ! 
Most made it but quite a few didn’t !
