This Leyland Atlantean No. 163 was one of the first Atlanteans to enter
the fleet of Wigan Corporation in 1969. The Leyland is seen here going
up Market Street in Wigan town centre on route 21 to Kitt Green.
The bodywork is by Northern Counties at Enfield Street, just 2 miles away.
The halfcab Leyland PD2 at the rear is one of several new to the Wigan
fleet between 1966 and 1967.
