I’ve just received some sad news that may strike a chord with some of the old stagers round here.
I have to report that Jack Mingay has died in Australia at the age of 90. Jack had his own wagons in Sunderland and was then manager at Archbolds in Newcastle in the 1970s and 1980s before retiring and emigrating to Australia.
