Had a delivery today where there’s one loading bay that serves maybe 10 small shops and cafes. Loading restrictions mean no loading/unloading anywhere else on the street in question between 11am and 5pm. The problem is the shop adjacent to the loading bay treats it as if it belongs to them, sometimes parking a vintage van there but mostly (like today) by putting cones out and standing postcard racks in the gutter. I moved the cones today and the postcard stand, to which a passer by said “you’ll have them out complaining.” Anyone else encounter shops and businesses doing things like this?
If not for the Vintage van and the loading times I would have said this was Topsham outside the Co-op. I don’t bother using the loading bay any more and just block the street up, I’m only there for 6 minutes tops and the last time someone complained (many years ago) my TM told him to get out of bed earlier LOL
