As far as I’m aware there’s no fixed camera that can differentiate between different vehicle types. But a police officer with a speed gun can. Especially if he’s on a mission that day to focus on speeding trucks.The camera at the belfry on the A446 could tell what’s what back when it was 40 for lorries ,it was a Gatso back then .
And the one (that is no longer there) on the A5 near Mira at Nuneaton. I had the Fixed Penalty and points to prove it - 47mph where the signposted limit was 50mph.
