The Bradford Colliery Leyland Beaver pre-dates nationalisation of the coal industry and the formation of NCB (1949?). Its โ€˜RJโ€™ Salford registration suggests that it was supplied by Woodwards. Bradford Colliery supplied the nearby Manchester Corporation Stewart Street power station with much of its requirement by an underground conveyor system. The colliery and power station were on the site of the present day Velodrome and Manchester Cityโ€™s Etihad stadium.
