I’m working the 4 on 4 off rota. As we all know that means nothing, sometimes it’s 1 day off, sometimes 4.
This week it’s 4, so I’m back for Thurs, Fri, and Sat, I lose 1 payable day.
Guaranteed 11 hours but I usually do at least 12 so…
£14.34 x 12 x 3 = £516 top line. Not great, I know, but better than 73 quid on the dole 
And, I only got that much last week because I did 5 days instead of four, plus some extra OT on the other days. total of 15 payable OT hours.
I posted it because I was chuffed to ■■■■ about making some decent money after 30 years as a poor working musician and, after 7 weeks in the job, I have over 2k in the bank even AFTER paying 1.5k in rent and living exes.
