Seeing all this grovelling there must of been a new motor in the yard.
That photo of MNC 452W (ex Irene) has just reminded me that Dave Hammond must of started in 1984 when I was given that M.A.N. 22.321 twin steer B911 SND, it was the only new motor that I ever had at Dow.
Looking at that photo of MNC 452W it looks like it has had a cannibalised front fitted and is due for a respray so it must of been involved in an accident sometime after I had finished driving it.

Perhaps the number plates “fell off” Steve,and they “accidentally” we’re refitted to the wrong vehicle,
