Although the book is mainly aimed at Module 1, I passed Module 2 as well (for both the bus theory tests and the lorry theory tests) using no other reading material. Actually I just went through the multiple choice questions and answers. Module 2 is a slightly harder test to Module 1 but has a lower pass mark to compensate. I spent 15 days going through the multiple choice, so about 1 chapter each day.
I wouldn’t use a book not written by DVSA because it might include information you don’t need or more importantly not include information that you do need. DVSA sets the questions so they are the ones who know what you need to know.
