Height marker

Legally the height marker should be set to no less than the highest part of the vehicle and no more than 25mm more than the highest part of the vehicle, I doubt the DVSA would be too pedantic about the 25mm but given all the bridge strikes we keep hearing about I imagine they would not hesitate to give out the £50 fixed penalty fine for anyone who’s vehicle height marker is obviously set much lower than the vehicle height.

This is what I was looking for, if he wants to run about drawing attention to himself that’s his problem if he gets stopped . However the wagons are well signed and his actions are likely to put attention to others . Thanks for the replies ,hopefully when he’s shown that it’s not just two daft auld twits that think he’s wrong he may decide to change his ways .
