Sloans/Broxburne used to come into Ballidon many years ago, one of their drivers lived locally to the quarry. They did have a bit of a ‘reputation’ though! 
No chance of me going to the Isle of Man either, when I got of that ship which my screen name is taken from back in 1951 I have stayed well away from the high seas!
