Hi Larry, your Son works for Adams so you have a degree of inside knowledge on the firm, & together with your own vast knowledge & experience, tell me something, what is J R Adams secret? Good professional Haulage Firms have gone & continue to go bust or get bought out by the big multi-national (boring/faceless) all white cab companies, but Adams continue to keep going, investing in new kit etc. We know that incredibly a 40’ flat is now considered to be a specialist bit of kit, but is that how they do it, offering a solid professional service in the outsize/awkward loads that the Big mass fleets just can’t be bothered with, or just haven’t got the knowledge/expertise or quality of driver to do the job, so Adams can charge a top rate for it?
