Under 8 tonnes: nothing required, adr familiarity advised but not required.
Over 8 tonnes: as above but LQ diamonds front and rear.
According to my broker, GIT insurance covers LQ without the need to inform them. It’s only if you are doing orange plate work the insurer needs specifics. You also don’t need a DGSA for LQ.
If you need anything out of the ordinary it’s up to the consignor to inform you.
The only specialist kit I carry for LQ is a couple of magnetic placards so I don’t have to use the adhesive ones on my units paintwork.
