Hi, Im owner driver and in-between seasonal work. Chatted to them on the phone and very helpful and friendly. I am looking to know if anyone on here has a mate or themselves have any experience on pushing a decent wage out of a unit over a weeks work>?

They chat an average of £1.45 a mile loaded but not when unloaded,? any ideas on this if its paying a decent wage?

Why they would want to take extra headache with vehicle, servicing, employees and so on, plus invest in vehicles, a big place to park all trucks, you can add many more extras…
All they do is find loads and find drivers and they still make good money by operating this way, without a big running costs. And, they can charge their customers lower than those who own their units. Of course they will always look for more subcontractors to supply their demands…
