I really don’t know if there is bigger elsewhere Patrick but that’s the 2nd time I have been to the big pit the last time in the mid 90s and the original viewing area is now part of the hole,if it gets any bigger it will swallow Kalgoorlie,18million ounces of gold since 1989.40 Cat Haulpaks and 4 Kamatsu face shovels loading them,they drill and blast 3 times a week.
