Maybe Dr Damon can explain why it’s actually illegal to use a GPS based speedometer on a car let alone allow a GPS etc type remote control system to drive the thing.Or for that matter exactly how many aircraft take offs and landings are made by auto pilot and why not.
Meanwhile we sack all the drivers in every sector of transport from taxis,buses to trucks and replace them all with robots.What could possibly go wrong.That’s an awful lot of people ending up looking for a job and an awful lot of lost spending power in the economy and benefit claims.Meanwhile picture the scene loads of robot taxis,buses and trucks all programmed by Audi driving white collar workers and even then liable to potential catastrophic electronic meltdown.
