BMC Diesels were fitted to the range of FG’s from 2.2 litre to 5.1 litre depending on the model but how easy it would be to find one of these today! A modern equivalent could be used if originality wasn’t a must, getting in touch with the Historical Commercial Vehicle Society might give you some pointers, it might be worth sticking with the Petrol though seeing as the Diesel is becoming a dirty word (in more ways than one) these days!
