Why do the job?

Where else in 2017 Britain can ordinary working class bods take home £500/600 per week and get their beer and food paid for (assuming they spend their subsistence) if they stop out.

Its ■■■■ easy in all honesty, once out on the road no buggers peering over your shoulder, if you accept a job with in cab camera that’s different but no one is forcing anyone to work there, all you have to do for the majority of lorry jobs is select D press the loud pedal and follow the directions of auntie sat nav.
Unless you choose one of the specialist jobs you’re out of the weather in a warm air conditioned cab, you can listen to whatever music or chat show you want on the wireless, just slipped that in to feed Evil a good line :smiling_imp:

There are better paid lorry jobs out there, but getting mucky and having to use some nous usually comes into it, and/or some hard graft and/or unusual hours can make a difference to lowering the hours whilst upping the pay.

It’s not all £9 an hour plus an extra £1 an hour for every hour over 60, or a whole extra £1 if you go umbrella :unamused: , some jobs are seriously well paid and it’s up to each driver to go find these places.

There’s something for everyone in transport world, all you have to do is find the niche you want then search out your route into it.
