Equipment.
Ex army greatcoats (2)
Blankets - (2)
Pillows (2)
Newspaper (As much as left over after toilet duties)
Suitcases (2) to level out the bonnet as much as possible.
Toolbox (to fill the footwell )
Old quilt (to make the bonnet softer)
6 pints of local brew (according to area parked up in and as sleep enducement)
Fish and chip wrappers ( kept to fill the gaps and smell a little bit better)
Empty bottle ( for winter time - stops grumbles when the door opens and lets the cold air in.) Never pee outside when it’s raining.
Tactics
Always kip down with feet at opposite sides of the cab.
Never ■■■■
Sleep on your side to prevent snoring.
Never de-ice the inside of the windows till the driver is fully awake or starts the engine cos we are freezing.
As you proceed up the A1 (optional) at snails pace wave happily to all those jammy gits in modern wagons.
