im definately getting cheesed off with the uk motorway network…
wed afternoon its all going swimmingly until i head out of enfield about 2pm…decided to make the midnight p&o, so nips into south mimms ( as you do) to accidentally hit the required “must make the boat button” for such a jaunt as its pishing of torrential rain well up the country and theres no way vosa wil be hanging around .off the 25 onto the m1…instantly its ".vairiable cameras " and gridlock…chug through that straight into…average speed cameras/gridlock…straight into “congestion” and more gridlock…repeat that right up till j1 on the m6…j2 congestion/gridlock.j3/gridlock.im not in the mood so its the toll,only clear bit of road sofar…onto m6…bad at 14,then “congestion” from 15-18…all the way now the signs are flashing…j18-21…“long delays”…this turns out to be caused by some ■■■■■■■ in a micra with a puncture on the rear who leaves it on the inside lane with not a wrecker in sight…3 weeks later after j21,gridlock through the thelwell viaduct,then…“congestion”/gridlock.till up past haydock…after that it wasnt bad to preston,then flat to the mat the rest of the way…who would want to have a job driving around england on a daily basis…■■
its no wonder that theres always ireland/uk trips on the go for anyone thats daft enough to want it.the countrys finished and it wont lie down.
The very reason i got out of it years ago DD999 and that was before the ■■■■ inspired camera deluge. France and Spain doesnt have all this grief…get yourself over here…
