I think big-al is referring to the immigration “specialists” that are nothing more than parasites who fill out a form on your behalf and charge the earth for it, they have a ton of clauses in the contracts you sign so you have no comeback if your application is refused.
Some companies do use an immigration service, Bison being a good example, but they only do what somebody at Bison would be doing if it was done in house. When I came here with Big Fright, they had a department that did all that stuff in house, it’s the same thing, just subbed out.
