Turners (Soham) Ltd. had a depot in Manchester during the 1960s early 1970s. I believe that it was somewhere in the east side of the city, maybe Newton Heath or Gorton. They used to run about 15 night trunks between Soham and Manchester during the peak agricultural produce season. A neighbour of ours, Seth Addison, drove a Dodge 308 four-wheeler for them on local deliveries. Anyone else remember Turners in Manchester?
