New drivers 2 year probation period

This happened to me about 10 years ago, I got 6 points in my first two years driving and had my licence revoked.

Assuming nothings changed, all you need to do is to re-sit your driving test, If you say you passed your test less than two years ago then your theory certificate may still be valid. Take your licence to the plod station and get straight on the blower to a local driving instructor, get it passed again and voila!

When it happened to me I carried on driving, got caught again and got a further 6 points for no insurance/licence/MOT/Tax along with some hefty fines. I ended up not driving for a good few years. DON’T GO DOWN THIS ROUTE.

Remember, a licence revocation DOESN’T show up on your licence and DOESN’T go down as a ban so insurance need not know. They will however be very interested in the 6 points you have.

And try and learn your lesson this time :unamused:
