Calor and its transport

Yes ,I knew Mick Higgins ,very straight fellow in my opinion. If I remember right he came to Calor when they took Mariner Gas over.
I dropped a big clanger whilst I was there, nothing dangerous , just embarrassing and cost a bit in diesel, but Mick gave me the chance to try and put things right and he never held it over me.
In fact when I left he said if things didn’t work out come and see me in September and you can come back. I was chuffed with that. I’ve mainly been a powder tanker man and i went back on them and stopped there until I retired.
