Favorite Routiers and other European Truckstops

I must admit that I wasn’t a great lover of The Wally Stop apart from the mussels and chips night on, was it Tuesday or Wednesday  .
I much prefered using the Aachen Nord border into Holland especially if I had loaded in West Germany and I had to get the T forms started.
It was always a great feeling knowing that my next stop would be Zeebrugge or Rotterdam and so a plate of frikkadellen and chips and a small draught Heinekin was a reminder that this time tomorrow I could be home. Does anybody remember the paper place mats that they used to put on the table when you ordered a meal. It had a picture of a big American truck with pictures of all the european flags around the edge and the words “enjoy your meal” in all the differant languages.
There were some good road houses in Holland so I thought I would show you a couple of stickers that Colin (Trubrit) sent to me some time ago, thanks Colin  .

Regards Steve.
