Scotland built truck

robroy:
Came across these pics of the Argyl Christina built in Scotland between 70 & 73, not sure where, with a Perkins engine, and cab and panels from other Brit truck co.s, another heavy haulage unit called the Argyl Trilby was built, but no pics, has anybody had any experience on these motors, or even remember them.210

I can recall a company in Armadale West Lothian called Wm Griffiths Transport who had quite a few on tipper work in central Scotland . They were indeed built in East Kilbride and powered by Perkins 6/354 engines , the cab was made by Metal Panel Ltd and was the same cab as fitted to the Seddon 16/354 , as far as I aware the company who manufactured these chassis now produce electronic parts etc for the motor industry .
