Sorry I’m confused with this relaxed working times

There’s not really enough information to say for certain but If you will be working on the Monday in week 4 it will definitely not be legal.

You still need either two regular weekly rest periods or one regular weekly rest period and one reduced weekly rest period in two consecutive weeks, you haven’t got a regular weekly rest period in the three weeks so from what you’ve posted I’d have to say it’s not legal.

In stead of working overtime on Sunday of week two you could work Saturday of week two or Monday of week 3, I know you probably want to work Sunday for the premium pay but…

edit: This is of course assuming that the job you do falls within the remit of the drivers hours relaxation, it only covers certain types of job.

In that case it depends what weekly rest periods you had in the weeks prior to week 1.

You need to be able to count a regular weekly rest period for week 1.

If you worked the Sunday before week 1 it’s a definite no no I’m afraid, if you had Saturday and Sunday off and that rest period can be counted for week 1 you can work the Sunday you want to work.

My employer has stated that he will be reducing our overtime rates due to current situation. Advice please is he allowed to do this?
