If you had a regular weekly rest period that counts for the week before this shift pattern started the answer is yes it’s legal, otherwise no it’s not legal.

To put that another way if the regular weekly rest period in the first week of your example can be used for week 2 it’s legal.

If this is for a one off and not for a regular thing then please give all your weekly rests from the last time you had 90 hours off which included a Sunday midnight

In the week previous to week one I also worked a Saturday 8.00 till 12.00 so I guess I’m not legal then?

I work every other Saturday with another driver working the weekends that I don’t.
He has asked me to cover one of his saturdays in few weeks time and then he would cover one of mine afterwards.

I had a week off from the 5/8/19 till 11/8/19.

hope this helps.

If you had a week off then started back on Monday the 12th you can legally do the shifts you’ve shown.

I will be doing this extra Saturday on the 7th September is this still ok?

I think you are doing this …

5/8 to 11/8 off on holls and first shift back on mon 12/8
12/8 to 17/8 work + 18/8 off = REGULAR weekly rest using the last 45 hours of the holls week
19/8 to 23/8 work + 24+25/8 off = REDUCED weekly rest using the 18/8 off
26/8 to 31/8 work + 1/9 off = REGULAR weekly rest using 24+25/8 off
2/9 to 7/9 work + 8/9 off = REDUCED weekly rest using 1/9 off
9/9 to to 13/9 work + 14+15/9 off = REGULAR weekly rest using 14+15/9 off

The 8/9 off is an extra reduced weekly rest which does not need compensating for and apart from the first 9 or 11 hours off can be used as payback

This is possible because you always have sunday midnight off so the weekly rests can be used for the week starting or week ending - but not both unless that are long enough to do so

Thank you so much for taking the time to help out with this. I really thought I wouldn’t be able to
do this, and stay on the right side of the law.I really didn’t want to go ahead with it unless I was 100% sure
that I could.

Many thanks,

Nick.
