Manual Entry

If I am sent home after 6 hours waiting around for a
run/vehicle and actually doing nothing except
drinking coffee and watching TV but am paid for
8 hours do I have to make a manual entry to reflect
6 or 8 hours?

I’d say you need to book 6 hrs. I had an early flyer New Year’s Eve and done a manual entry stating actual time of finish not what my official time would’ve been.

If you’re going to manually record the hours at work (you are legally required to but some people wouldn’t) it’s only the actual hours at work (6 hours in this case) that need to be manually recorded.

Thank you all for your replies
Manual entries for the hours worked
seems to be the way.
