Urgent advice needed

I’ve come out with my card that has now expired I’ve crossed into midnight.

I have my new one at home, but am I allowed to carry on driving and use manual inputs to finish my shift with card as it’s now expired and my new one is at home?

Many Thanks

Lee

Technically you’re not allowed to drive unless your card is lost/stolen or faulty but if you’re already on the road it’s a bit late to worry about that.

If your card won’t now work do a vehicle printout now and another one when you finish the shift, write an explanation on the printouts and your name then sign them.

You’ll need to carry these printouts with you for the next 28 days then hand them into your transport office.

Thank you for your reply, I was luckily enough to have a spare driver availble to take over the rest of the trip.

Think if it wasn’t for the fact that we had a spare driver availble to finish my trip, i’d be getting a big telling off.
