'Stood-down' days

i understand that if you have a days holiday, that counts as 8 hours on your WTD,and a weeks holiday it is 48 hours?
but our place will stand a driver down for a day (stay at home with no loss of earnings).presumably this will count as zero hours towards your WTD?

Yes as long as it’s not being used as part of their holiday entitlement that counts as zero hours working time for the RT(WT)R.

This is how some companies keep salaried drivers within the 48 hour average, they have a day off without loss of earnings.
